“Ruedi Lüthy is changing the lives of many”

Ruedi Lüthy, HIV/Aids specialist and founder of Ruedi Lüthy Foundation, turns 80 years old. As a member of the board of trustees, trainer at Newlands Clinic Training Center, and mentor he still takes an active part in the development of the foundations' work. Ruedi Lüthy is fighting the HIV/Aids pandemic since the 1980s – at first in Switzerland, now in Zimbabwe.

Ruedi Lüthy (born 1941 in Lucerne), one of the first HIV/Aids specialist and founder of Ruedi Lüthy Foundation, is celebrating his 80th birthday on February the 17th. Ruedi Lüthy Foundation and the staff at Newlands Clinic congratulate him from the bottom of their heart and wish him all the best. “As a member of the board of trustees, trainer at Newlands Clinic Training Center and mentor he still takes an active part in the development of the foundations work”, says Sabine Lüthy CEO and daughter of Ruedi Lüthy “Thanks to his commitment Ruedi Lüthy is changing the lives of many.” Throughout his whole career, Ruedi Lüthy was devoted to stopping the HIV/Aids pandemic.
